Friendship Force Pledge:
As a member of Friendship Force, I recognize that I can make a difference. I have a mission to be a friend to the people of the world. As I embark upon this adventure, I know that others will be watching. I know that through my example to my fellow citizens and the people of other nations, the cause of friendship, love and peace can be advanced. I can make a difference.
Our Travels:
Depending on the desires of the inbound Ambassadors, we create unique Journeys that reflect the history and culture of the Mississippi River and the surrounding tri-state area of Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Welcoming parties meet arriving Ambassadors as they do for us when we arrive in their community.
Who We Are:
Friendship Force of Memphis travels across 6 contients: North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia/Oceania. There are over 350 Friendship Force communities in more than 60 countries as we meet one friend, one smile, and one hello at a time. Friendship Force of Memphis was formed in 1982. The people we meet in many cases become lifelong friends.

WELCOME TO FRIENDSHIP FORCE OF MEMPHIS!
The Great Things About Friendship Force of Memphis.
We are a non-profit cultural organization focused on promoting cultural education and citizen diplomacy through home-stay journeys. We welcome inbound Ambassadors into our homes, making friends, reducing personal barriers as we learn each others views.
Our goal is to host one international and two domestic Journeys each year. In addition to the officially sanctioned Friendship Force journeys, we journey on locally conducted Friendly Jaunts not related to the international organzation, usually within a day’s drive from our Memphis community.
Once a Journey is underway, a welcoming party is given with a pot-luck dinner in order to get to know each other, and to share our local cuisine for our new friends to experience. At the journeys end, a more formal party is given to bid farewell.

Additionally, applicants are required to go to http://my.friendshipforce.org in order to signup on the Friendship Force International site for creating an account to establish access to the Memphis club area of the international site.
Friendship Force International fees must be paid on http://my.friendshipforce.org with CREDIT CARD, GOOGLE PAY, or BANK DRAFT. Local Memphis dues must be paid to the local chapter. Friendship Force of Memphis CAN NOT accept international dues.
